Repeating Signal (G.R. 3.16)

A signal which repeats the aspect of a fixed signal ahead.

It is placed in advance to the Loco Pilot of an approaching train, in the rear of the fixed signal, where the Loco Pilot cannot see the fixed signal clearly.

It is distinguished by the letter ―R‖ illuminated in white and against a black ground.
- ✓
It has only two aspects: caution and proceed.
- ✓
It shall not be treated as a stop signal.
