Shooting is a precision sport in which competitors use firearms or air guns to hit stationary or moving targets. Success depends on accuracy, concentration, control, and consistency.
Key Features
- Players : Individual competitors or teams.
- Equipment : Air rifles, air pistols, rifles, shotguns, targets, and safety gear.
- Objective : Score the highest points by hitting targets as accurately as possible.
- Events : Rifle, pistol, and shotgun competitions.
Basic Rules
- 1Competitors fire a specified number of shots at targets.
- 2Points are awarded based on how close each shot is to the center of the target.
- 3The athlete with the highest score wins.
- 4Strict safety rules must be followed at all times.
- 5Different events have different distances, target types, and time limits.
